About Signs of the Times

The first issue of Signs of the Times was published in Melbourne in November 2, 1885. It was then known as the Bible Echo and Signs of the Times. It was—and still is—devoted to the “promulgation of moral and social reforms, from a purely Bible standpoint.”
Signs of the Times is published by the Adventist Media Network, an organisation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific. It is a monthly (11 issues a year) subscription magazine, with a circulation of some 45,000, distributed in Australia and New Zealand, the Pacific islands, and as far afield as Africa, Asia and Europe.
Although a denominational publication, it is a magazine designed for the general public, containing a mix of easy-to-read articles promoting positive relationships and family values, a healthful lifestyle and Bible-based Christian belief.
As its name suggests, it also attempts to attune people to the serious times in which we live, in the belief that the Second Coming of Christ is near, and that people should prepare for that.
