1. What is the greatest sign that God exists?
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
2. How was Jesus born?
Matthew 1:23 “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel—which means, ‘God with us.’”
Literally hundreds of prophecies in the Old Testament were fulfiled in Jesus, establishing Him as God the Son. History is divided by His birth. In a world of bad news, what good news has Jesus for us?
3. Why was He called Jesus?
Matthew 1:21 “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
Sin is a broken relationship with God. That’s why the world is in a mess today! Jesus came to restore this relationship.

4. Why did Jesus say He came to earth?
Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
5. How was Jesus a ransom for many?
Romans 5:8 “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Luke records that “When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left (23:33).
6. For whom did Jesus die?
Romans 5:6-8 “When we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. . . . But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for [Greek “in place of”] us.”
Jesus took the blame for our mistakes so that we could be forgiven and treated as if we were innocent.
7. What hope does Jesus give for the future?
John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

8. What is given to those who believe in Jesus?
John 1:12 “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
9. What gift does Jesus promise for those who trust him?
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Associated Press reported how the US television talk-show host Oprah Winfrey celebrated the premiere of her 19th season by surprising every one of her 276 audience members with a new car.
“We’re calling this our wildest dream season, because this year on the Oprah show, no dream is too wild and no surprise too impossible to pull off,” Winfrey said. The audience members—mostly women—were chosen because their friends or family had written about their need for a new car.
Upon opening boxes that contained the keys to the 276 cars, they screamed, cried and hugged each other, then followed Winfrey to a car park adjacent to her Harpo Studios to see their Pontiacs, each decorated with a giant red bow.
The cars, according to Associated Press, each retailing for $US28,000 ($A40,000), were donated by Pontiac.
A huge banner unfurled above the cars yelled: “Congratulations! Your wildest dreams have come true.”
the best gift
Our wildest dreams can and do come true. If yours is for an eternal life in a trouble-free, disease-free, tear-free, death-free, hospitable and loving world, simply accept Jesus.
He offers all that and more, and it’s yours free. He has purchased it already for you.
