Tim Flannery: Caring for the Earth

On January 25, 2007, Professor Tim Flannery was named Australian of the Year. Professor Flannery is a scientist, explorer, conservationist and writer. His most recent book, The Weather Makers: The History and Future Impact of Climate Change, won Book of the Year at the 2006 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards.
